Partner with us on a standalone project or through an ongoing retainer for sustained support as your priorities evolve.
Core Consulting Areas:
PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
We build a customized, consistent approach to setting expectations, incorporating feedback, and supporting development and engagement.
We design processes that connect individual contributions to organizational goals while making room for honest conversations about wellbeing, workload, and support.
STRATEGIC PLANNING
We establish shared priorities and translate them into achievable goals, clear ownership, and meaningful measures of progress.
We guide the planning process with attention to your organization’s ambitions, resources, and your team’s capacity to follow through.
MISSION, VISION, VALUES, PURPOSE
Articulate why your organization exists, where it’s headed, and the principles that guide its work.
Through thoughtful stakeholder conversations, we help translate these commitments into shared expectations for future decisions and behavior.
ROLE ALIGNMENT & HIRING
We help clarify what each role requires and how how individual strengths and working styles align with those expectations.
We use assessments and structured conversations to inform hiring decisions, define responsibilities, and support success in the role.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
We work with corporations, small to medium sized businesses, and nonprofit organizations of varying sizes. Our consulting experience spans across several industries such as financial services, healthcare, construction, hospitality, technology, higher education, service industries, and more. We tailor our approach to your organization’s structure, culture, and priorities.
-
We take the time to understand your organization and the people within it. We ask thoughtful questions, listen closely, and bring an outside perspective that helps you see familiar challenges differently.
You can expect honest conversations, care for your people, and a willingness to examine what may be getting in the way of progress.
We become an extension of your team: someone who knows the context, can work through complex questions with you, and takes responsibility for moving the engagement forward. Our work combines evidence-based expertise with practical judgment, giving equal attention to the goals you’re pursuing and the human experience of achieving them.
-
We begin with a discovery call to learn about your organization, understand your priorities, and discuss where support would be most useful. We then develop a customized proposal with options based on your needs and budget.
-
You don’t need to arrive with a defined project. Our discovery process helps identify what’s working, where challenges are emerging, and what deserves attention. We also use an organizational wellbeing questionnaire to gather perspectives across key roles, helping us understand how experiences differ and where concerns overlap. Together, we determine where to focus.

We offer standalone projects and monthly retainers. Standalone projects are priced according to their scope, with a defined timeline and deliverables. Retainers reserve a consistent amount of time each month, giving you flexibility to use our support across several priorities.
Our retainer consulting rate is $3,475 per seven-hour day. Monthly retainers range from a half day to three days, with time distributed throughout the month.
Standalone projects start at $6,995 for strategic planning, $5,995 for performance management, and $2,995 per hire for hiring support. These rates are subject to change based on scope, team size, and additional time and expertise required to reach your goals.
Following a discovery call, we prepare a customized proposal with options based on your needs and budget. Discounts may be available for nonprofit organizations.
-
Standalone projects are suited to a defined priority, such as developing a strategic plan or establishing a performance management process. Retainers provide ongoing support across several initiatives, with flexibility to adjust priorities as your needs change. We’ll discuss both options and recommend an arrangement that fits your organization.
-
A retainer reserves a set amount of our team’s time each month, ranging from a half day to three days per month. One consulting day equals seven hours, so monthly allocations range from 3.5 to 21 hours. This time is distributed throughout the month across agreed priorities.
In addition to consulting, retainer time can often be used for individual coaching and other development needs. Retainer clients receive significantly discounted pricing on our programs, public workshops, and assessments.

Both. We’ve successfully supported clients entirely virtually, while most engagements combine virtual and in-person work. Typically, the majority of our work takes place virtually, with occasional in-person visits for onsite sessions and offsite retreats.
